ABOUT KAT EDMUNSON

Kathleen “Kat” Edmundson’s love of New Orleans real estate started when she bought her first 100-year-old uptown “fixer-upper” at the age of 23.  At that time, she was a public school teacher, and she now calls on that expertise when she is helping first time buyers and sellers, walking them step-by-step through each phase of the process. Kat also specializes in the many historic neighborhoods in New Orleans and the surrounding areas, helping buyers find just the right area to call home.

Kat is particularly knowledgeable about the New Orleans market and community, which shows in her extensive involvement in uniquely New Orleans organizations. She is on the board of directors for the Louisiana Museum Foundation, Le Petit Theater du Vieux Carre, Teach for America-Greater New Orleans, ReNew Charter Schools, and Women of Fashion, and is active in the Krewe of Muses, the Merry Antoinettes, and BRAVO. Kat takes her commitment to the New Orleans community to heart, just like her commitment to her clients. Kat has the in-depth knowledge and heart-felt dedication to successfully serve her buyers and sellers.
